Tear Trough Treatment

If ‘the eyes tell more than words can ever say’….you want them to be reflecting good things!

Do you suffer with dark circles under the eyes, do you constantly look tired due to their hollow appearance? As we go through the ageing process, as well as other changes to our faces, we can also lose volume from the under-eye area. But…did you know you can dramatically improve this appearance. Tear Trough is a popular procedure and we have been seeing more and more patients intrigued by this as many of us have problems with dark circles and no doubt spend hundreds of pounds on highlighting concealer makeup every year!

This is a very specialist treatment as technically it can pose more challenges for the practitioner. Having a very thorough understanding of the anatomy, excellent product knowledge and knowing which is the right product choice for this delicate area as well as the expertise and experience of treating the eye area lends itself to the best aesthetic outcome without complications. Here at Skinfinity, our lead aesthetic nurse practitioner has years of experience treating this area. During your pre-treatment consultation Freya will assess you to make are that you are a good candidate for treatment and put you at ease by explaining everything and answering your questions. You may want to know: –

Which Filler do you use?

Where do you inject?

What are the risks?

The above procedure will not necessarily treat pigmentation issues around this area as what we’re treating is the hollowing of the under eye and the volume loss. If there is pigment to the skin Freya will address the treatment options for that during your consultation.

A Tear Trough procedure can last around 18 months and there is very little downtime. The results can drastically improve our patient’s appearance and we are treating more patients wanting a smoother, younger, fresher look around the eyes. Our patients are always delighted with the results, and we love boosting their confidence

This is a very effective procedure for creating a fresher, rested appearance without changing the original facial features.
