is a microneedling treatment for me?

Microneedling patients can enjoy minimal downtime along with enjoyable results if treatments are continued. Treatment starts with a numbing cream being applied to your face to minimize the discomfort. We then start to lightly puncture the skin, stimulating the production of collagen. The skin perceived this as an injury and initiates the healing process. 

Normally the face is treated with microneedling, but we can also treat the chest and neck. Depending on the skin condition, skin quality and area to be treated, multiple treatments are required for best results. You may experience some minor discomfort during the procedure, but a numbing cream will be applied prior to commencement to reduce this. You may experience some very minor bleeding during the treatment but not post treatment. We generally advise a course of 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart to begin with and maintenance treatments as and when required. Medical microneedling can be a stand alone treatment or used in combination with dermal fillers or platelet rich plasma (PRP).

Microneedling is safe for all skin types.
